Theme Parks- Even if it’s only an hour away, a theme park is a great way to enjoy some time with the kids. Staying overnight at a hotel will be a fun memorable experience. Plan a day at your local theme park and an evening of pizza and swimming at the hotel pool. This is a treat during the winter months for those who live in cold climates.

Vegas- Vegas, Atlantic City and Reno all make great places for weekend getaways. There is so much to do in these cities that even if you don’t gamble you are still bound to have a great time. You can take in a fabulous dinner and a show. Or eat at one of the many cheap buffet restaurants and people watch on the strip. There is even room for a little golf in Reno. A weekend is the perfect amount of time for a place like Vegas and the good news is that the travel deals to Vegas are fantastic. Golfing- Golfing getaways are a great way to let go of your stress and unwind. Maybe there is a golf course within a few hours of your home that you have been dying to play. Take a weekend trip to play golf with your buddies. You won’t regret it.
